8.30 am Departure from Cochin to Vaikom Backwater Village
9.30 am: Arrival at the Village.
10.00 am: Cruise Starts from the River and later enters into narrow canals. Enjoy fishing, learn toddy tapping and see coir making and continue your cruise.
01.30 pm: You will be served exceptional traditional Kerala lunch in a village house on a banana leaf. The boat will halt for brief spells along the villages to allow you to explore the rural life.
02.30 pm: Continue your cruise and enjoy the mesmerizing views of Vembanad Lake at Vaikom.

Elephant Training Camp and Village Backwater Cruise

7.30  am Start your journey from Cochin to Kodanad.
9.00 am: Reach Kodanad and visit the Elephant Kraal. Kodanad is a beautiful rural riverside village.  Elephant rescue and care centre   for central and southern forest region of Kerala.  Tourists informally gets a chance to experience the bathing of baby elephants under the supervision of  its Mahouts.  At the park, the old kraal is maintained to house elephants,  which is a structure made of wood compartments that can accommodate up to  4 elephants.
10.00 am: Continue your journey to Vaikom backwater village
11.30 am: Arrival at the village. On arrival walk through the village and see the activities at the village like coir making, see some spice plantations and then  enter in to the boat for backwater cruise.

Dutch Palace
:
The Palace was originally built by the Prtuguese in 1555 and presented to the Kochi Kings, acquired its present name after 1663 when the Dutch carried out extensive repairs. The main attractions in this palace are the 16th and 17th century mural paintings of Ramayana and Mahabharatha ( Friday Holiday)

Jewish Synagogue:
 The oldest synagogue in the British commonwealth, built in 1568, Hand painted Chinese tiles & Belgium Chandliers are the hightlights ( Friday and Saturday Holiday)

FORT KOCHI


St.Francis Church: 
The first European Church in India, built in 1503 by the Portuguese and renewed by Dutch and the British. The Great Navigator Vasco-da-gama was originally burries here ( Sunday Holiday)
