We booked the tour for two people the day before and they organized it for us very quickly; The tour is very good, it is not through the main channels of the backwaters but it is a pleasant tour through one of them that is small and quiet, you visit some houses in the towns and they show you spice plants, etc. The tour is not excessively long, 1.5-2 hours (enough), everything was organized very well and with quick responses by email and WhatsApp. We had a very attentive and pleasant guide on the boat ride, very cultured, he explained many things to us about the plants and birds that we saw, and also about the history of India

The most tranquil boat ride I have ever taken. Beautiful scenery, lots of birds and wildlife, nature at its very best. We stopped at a village to see coir rope and palm matting being made which was fascinating. We also stopped to see a man extracting 'toddy' from a tree, again fascinating. The trip finished with an authentic lunch. Our guide was delightful and able to answer all our questions, thoroughly recommended.

The view was beautiful. The experience was nice but for the price I paid the ride didn't do any justice . Sorry to say but, the journey from backwater to the next destination became very boring because no one there to tell anything or any information. The excitement we had for backwaters is now just gone. But a big thanks to Ramesh Sir he helped us with the package and gave the best suitable package for us.

We had booked a motorised shikara boat ride plus a canoe ride for the day with some activities to watch and do . This was the village experience we wanted to give our kids and wanted this to be a private experience for our family of four .The trip started when we were picked up from our hotel by a well mannered driver in a good vehicle.Knowing the local language helped us to have good conversations with him .Among the three stops that we did during the morning water ride was a stop to have interaction with the local woman , who showcased her skills in rope making .After this ,we came back for a Kerela vegetarian lunch which was served to us with great joy on a plantain leaf . It was tasty as it was home made food .Afternoon we did a small ride on a canoe in the canal along with a stop to see the mat making process with the help of locally sourced plant . This was also something we enjoyed .The USP of this Kerela backwaters trip was the way the whole experience is weaved to include the locals by the proprietor - whether it’s the driver , tour guide , the cook, the various women who showcased their traditional skills of weaving or the boat man . We definitely want to give a shout out to this thought through process of tourism by Mr . Ramesh .It was a good experience ! Will definitely share this experience of ours with others too. Thanks 🙏

We very much enjoyed the 3-4 hour tour. The guide was excellent in explaining the stops for coir and coconut toddy. The scenery was beautiful, calm, and gentle gliding along the large and small waterways. He explained the plants and environment. The lunch was very good.

Great experience from booking to backwater trip!Ramesh was very quick in responding and everything was booked and confirmed very quickly. We did the elephant sanctuary and the backwater trip. Driver was early to pick us up from hotel and looked after us really well in the elephant sanctuary. Though we did not get to see the bathing of elephant in the river (because of high water level), it was good to see the elephants. The meal by the water before the boat trip was AMAZING! Food was very good and everyone was so friendly and again, very well looked after. The boat trip was on traditions narrow open boat and the scenery was simply beautiful beyond words. The narrow boat could go to the really tight water way (great skill by the boat ‘driver’). It felt like a true backwater experience.Highly recommend this operator and the trip!

Mr Ramesh helped us plan a trip to Kerala by factoring in all our requirements and creating a travel package around it. He is very courteous and explained all the finer details to make the overall itinerary pleasant.Right from pickup at Kochi airport to transfers to resorts to houseboat and then to Munnar and back to Kochi airport, he planned the whole trip meticulously and followed up regularly to ensure everything is smooth. The houseboat stay included in the package is the highlight of the entire trip. The boat is truly luxurious and the food and service is exemplary.I strongly recommend the services by this company for planning a holiday to Kerala.

We had a lovely experience. Because of the pandemic situation, we were lucky to be the only tourists and they provided us a fantastic guide and a very nice atmosphere with talking, discussing and showing the village where was sea mussels being harvested, then some lovely village food and a session to learn making roof with coconut tree. Overall, would highly recommend.
Kerala Backwaters
Vembanad Kayal which is in Vaikom is the largest lake in Kerala. Located in Kottayam district, it is the place rich with its rivers, narrow canals, different kinds of grass species and surely its backwaters.
Backwaters are part of rivers which is held or pushed back by a dam or current. It lies alongside the river and then rejoins it or to a body of water. Simply saying, it is the part at which the river joins with the ocean. Kerala is the land blessed with its backwater destinations. It offers a perfect blend of magnificent sceneries and tranquility which is a feast to the eyes of tourists. Houseboats are the main attraction of Kerala backwaters and it is an enchanting experience to the tourists.
